Foreign drafts

Sending a draft abroad tends to be expensive - for both you and the person you’re sending  it to. The reason for this is because drafts require manual processing. Therefore, we recommend you use other means of payment such as eBanking. Only use an international draft payment if the amount involved is relatively small, if you cannot obtain the payee's bank details or if you need to enclose something  along with your payment.

With a foreign draft you are able to enclose something with the payment. You can make the payment even though you do not have the payee's bank details.
